Decision made on Do Not Call
On 30th April, Senator Stephen Conroy announced the Government would not proceed with the proposal to extend the ‘Do Not Call’ Register to include business numbers in the current legislation. Similar laws had been passed in the UK and failed miserably, not to mention wasted time and resources to instigate this type of unfair trading regime. This is a massive win by ADMA who was actively lobbying the Government against this new legislature.
"This backflip by the Government has brought a huge relief to businesses and agencies," says Nick Mercer. "We believe commonsense has prevailed. We look forward to continuing to help our B2B clients grow their businesses."
