Live Band Interview with Birds of Tokyo
Debit MasterCard Priceless Music has been hugely successful for
MasterCard. However, we needed to continue to build awareness and
engagement with Gen Y. So we gave them the chance to impress their
friends, create awareness of Priceless Music and amplify the Birds
of Tokyo gig with a live band interview. We used the Priceless
Music Facebook page to advertise it.
Fans were able to post questions and comments and then interview
the band and stream it live on Facebook. This priceless experience
was a huge hit with fans. We had 719 page views the night of the
interview, 6,774 impressions of the first interview post with 20
comments and 7,976 monthly active users. Plus, 1,197 people signed
up to receive an email alert when tickets to see Birds of Tokyo at
Cockatoo Island went on sale.
